You can also edit /etc/gai.conf to prefer ipv4 over ipv6 (on prometeus and pretty much * i've tried, its faster than ipv6).

Comments in file will explain.

Sorry, personally I do not agree. It needs a lot of work to be comparable to Solus

I was happy I was able to create an instance without problems (except that the 2GB was forbidden earlier, but quickly enabled by uncle).

Yes, solus can do many things, but those are for OVZ, do not apply in KVM.

For example, solus cannot reset kvm password.
It can set yun/tap, hostname, rdns, what else ? Hostbill version will have rdns too, in cloudstack ppl will fire up instances and destroy them all the time, rDNS is superfluous. TUN/TAP not needed on KVM/Xen and !
CS can take snapshots, automate them, allow you to make templates, add your own iso, own template, own disk image even, what more can you possibly need ?
